I'm actually pretty proud of this even if it did give me arm pain- mostly thumb pain though probably because I use a gaming mouse to draw,

Great pixel art! I feel like doing shading must be a bit of a challenge, but it looks really nice here!
I struggle with shading enough doing regular digital art, so seeing those who do it well is kind of inspiring.

I absolutely love this background! How did you create it? Was it just a particular brush you used?

thank you! i used a rock texture image for the background (got it from the CSP Asset store lol), added a "blood" gradient to everything, and made the drip effect in procreate and added a drop shadow on it
